Welcome to Gosford Kariong Rugby Club

The Gosford Kariong Rugby Club is a proud merger of two storied rugby traditions on the Central Coast. Established in 1974, the Gosford Rugby Club built a rich history of providing competitive rugby for boys, girls, men, and women, with a strong connection to the Central Coast community.

Founded in 1978, the Kariong Wanderers brought a strong focus on inclusiveness, family culture, and being a positive presence in the community through mens, womens and juniors rugby.

Now united, the Gosford Kariong Rugby Club combines these strengths, fostering inclusiveness, family values, and community engagement while competing in the Central Coast Rugby Union Competition in NSW.

• For 2025 the club will have 3 Senior Mens teams, 1 Senior Womens team and numerous Junior teams that play in the Central Coast Rugby Union Competition (CCRU).
• The CCRU Competition consists of 10 teams and stretches from Woy Woy in the south and Lake Macquirie in the north.
• The Gosford Kariong Rugby Club is a family-based club run entirely by volunteers.
• The Gosford Kariong Rugby Club train at both Showgrounds Road and Kariong Oval and play at their very own grounds, Gosford Showground.

We welcome all players, supporters, sponsors and those who have a general interest in Rugby Union. At Gosford Kariong we are so much more than just another Rugby club we are a community of support for all involved.
